(AdMob SDK)

(Firebase Hosting)

환불은 Apple 문제 신고(reportaproblem.apple.com) 또는 Google Play 주문 내역(play.google.com)에서 요청할 수 있습니다.

Privacy Policy

App: Cushion Keepers (방석 사수!) · Developer: Hyeonsu Jeong · Effective: 2026-10-12

This policy explains how we, the developer of the mobile game Cushion Keepers ("the app"), handle personal data in the app and on this website.

In short

  • There is no account or sign-in. Your progress and settings stay on your device.
  • Ads (a banner on menu screens, an interstitial between stages, and rewarded ads you choose to watch) are served by Google AdMob. Google collects device identifiers, your IP address and similar data (section 3).
  • We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect app usage statistics that help us improve the game. We do not send your name, e-mail address or advertising identifier, and the data is deleted after 2 months. You can turn it off at any time in the app under Settings > Send usage stats (also in the ⓘ sheet on the title screen, from the first launch). We do not collect analytics in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland (section 4).
  • Apple (iPhone app) or Google Play (Android app) processes in-app purchases. We never receive your payment details (section 5).
  • If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them one year after we reply.
  • You can turn off personalised ads at any time (section 7).

1. Who we are (controller)

Controller: Hyeonsu Jeong, individual developer, Republic of Korea.
Privacy contact: tuche24@naver.com

2. Data we handle ourselves

  • Game data: stage progress, fish, cats, upgrades, tutorial progress and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
  • Support e-mails: if you write to us, we receive your e-mail address, your name if your mail shows it, your message and anything you include (for example device model, OS version, screenshots or a purchase receipt). We use it only to answer you and keep a record of the request.
  • App analytics: see section 4.

The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours. The access-code web test version has no ads, analytics or purchases and keeps its progress in your browser storage only.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner, interstitial and rewarded ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Rewarded ads play only when you tap a button to watch one. When the app starts and when an ad is requested or shown, the SDK automatically collects the following and sends it to Google over an encrypted connection (TLS):

  • device and advertising identifiers: the IDFA only if you allow tracking, the Android advertising ID unless you reset or delete it in your device settings, and app- or developer-scoped device identifiers (such as the Android app set ID);
  • your IP address, which is used to estimate your approximate location;
  • device information such as model, OS version, language and screen size;
  • app interactions such as app launches, ad impressions, clicks and video views, and the ads you have seen;
  • diagnostics such as app launch time and crash logs.

Google uses this data to show ads (personalised ads only where allowed), measure ads, run analytics and prevent fraud. When ads are auctioned, Google may share limited bid data with advertisers and ad technology providers under its own policies. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, these providers are listed in Google's consent message. For this data Google acts as an independent controller. We only see aggregated reports, such as impressions and earnings, that do not identify you. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. App analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

We are the controller of this data and Google LLC processes it for us as our processor. The Firebase SDK sends:

  • a random app instance ID created when the app is installed (not linked to your name, phone number or advertising identifier);
  • game events: stage number, result, run time and attempt count, tutorial steps, in-game upgrade and unlock purchases (with in-game currency), nap box claims, rewarded ad offers and results, whether an interstitial was shown, shop visits, and purchase results (product type and outcome, never the transaction ID);
  • user properties: best stage range, whether you have bought anything, which of Remove Ads, Snack Pass and Golden Bowl you own, and your tracking and ad consent status;
  • automatically collected basics such as first open, session start, engagement time and app updates, plus device model, OS version, language and country or region (estimated from the connection).

We use it only to balance the game, fix confusing screens and find errors. Collection of advertising identifiers (the iOS IDFA and the Android advertising ID) and device identifiers (the iOS IDFV and the Android ID) is turned off, the data is not used for ads, and Google signals and ad personalization signals are off. Event-level data is deleted automatically after 2 months; only aggregated reports that do not identify you remain. We do not collect analytics in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland: collection stays off whenever your device region, your App Store or Google Play country or the ad consent signal points to one of them, or when the region cannot be determined. You can turn analytics off at any time in the app under Settings > Send usage stats: collection stops immediately and the analytics data kept on your device (including the app instance ID) is reset. You can turn it back on later; the game works the same either way.

5. In-app purchases

Remove Ads, Snack Pass, Golden Bowl, the Starter Pack and fish packs are sold as App Store in-app purchases in the iPhone app and as Google Play in-app purchases in the Android app. Apple or Google processes payment, receipts and refunds; we never receive your payment method or Apple or Google account details. To deliver what you bought and avoid delivering it twice, the app records the transaction ID (on Google Play, the purchase token), product and purchase time that the store (Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing) gives it, on your device only. With each purchase request the app sends the store a random number created for this installation, so that a purchase made on another device is not delivered twice; it is not linked to your name or contact details. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google in your Google Play order history. If a purchase does not show up, tap Restore in the shop, or contact us.

6. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

  • Ads: your consent, collected through Google's consent message on first launch, for storing or accessing information on your device and for personalised ads. If you do not consent, Google may still serve non-personalised or limited ads on the legal bases described in its own policies.
  • Analytics: not collected in these regions.
  • Support e-mails: our legitimate interest in answering your request.
  • Google acts as an independent controller for the ad data its SDK collects (Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA and Switzerland, Google LLC elsewhere).

7. Your choices and how to opt out

  • iPhone and iPad: the app asks once, on the first result screen after you finish the tutorial. If you do not allow tracking, ads are served without the advertising identifier (IDFA). You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Android: reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads (on some devices Settings > Google > Ads; before Android 12, "Opt out of Ads Personalization"). Once it is deleted, ads are served without it.
  • EEA, UK, Switzerland and some US states: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message appears on first launch. There, and in US states where the law requires it, you can change your choice, withdraw consent or opt out at any time from Ad privacy in the app's settings (or the ⓘ sheet on the title screen). This entry appears only where it applies. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
  • Google account: manage personalised ads in My Ad Center.
  • App analytics: turn off Send usage stats in the app's settings to stop analytics collection and reset the analytics data on your device (section 4).

The game works the same whatever you choose; ads may just be less relevant.

8. International transfers

We are based in the Republic of Korea, which the European Commission and the United Kingdom recognise as providing adequate protection. Google processes ad data, analytics data (outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) and this website's access logs in the United States and other countries. Google states that it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) and on Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

Our e-mail provider, NAVER Corp., stores support e-mails in the Republic of Korea.

9. Retention and deletion

  • Support e-mails: deleted one year after we reply, unless we must keep them longer for a legal claim.
  • Analytics: event-level data is deleted after 2 months.
  • Game data and purchase records: stay on your device until you delete the app or its data. We keep no copies.
  • Ad data: kept by Google under its retention policy. Google says it anonymises advertising data in server logs by removing part of the IP address after 9 months and cookie information after 18 months.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, ask for a copy (portability), and withdraw consent at any time. For the support e-mails we hold, write to tuche24@naver.com; we will reply within 10 days. We cannot identify you from ad or analytics data, so for ad data use the choices in section 7 or contact Google directly; analytics data is deleted after 2 months. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. US state privacy rights

Some US state laws treat giving device identifiers to an ad network for targeted ads as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, or as "targeted advertising". You can opt out through Ad privacy in the app where it is shown, or by not allowing tracking on iOS or deleting your advertising ID on Android. We do not sell analytics data. You can also ask us about, or ask us to delete, the support e-mails we hold. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

12. Children

The app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or under the minimum age in your country (14 in Korea). Ads are requested with the General maximum ad content rating. If you are a parent and believe your child's data has been processed, contact us. We will delete any support e-mails we hold without delay, and help you delete the app, turn off tracking or delete the advertising ID (section 7) and contact Google through its privacy form.

13. Security

All data the ad and analytics SDKs send and all traffic to this website is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS). We run no server and store no game data outside your device. Only the developer can open the support mailbox and the Firebase console, both protected with two-step verification.

Third parties: the third parties that receive data through the app or this website — Google (AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Hosting) and our e-mail provider (section 8) — provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this policy and as required by the App Store Review Guidelines and Google Play's User Data policy. We use only providers bound by data protection terms that meet this standard.

14. This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Our host, Google Firebase Hosting, may process access logs (IP address, browser details, time of access) for security and to deliver the pages.

15. Changes to this policy

This policy takes effect on 2026-10-12. First published on 2026-10-03; revised on 2026-10-12 to cover the Android app on Google Play: the Android advertising ID and app set ID, Google Play payments and refunds (sections 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 12 and 13). We will post changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for significant changes).
